NANJING, CHINA | December 18, 2018– ConMet celebrated its new hub assembly facility in Nanjing, China with a grand opening event on December 11th, 2018. The celebration was attended by customers, government officials, suppliers, and longest tenured ConMet employees.
“This year marks the tenth anniversary of ConMet’s entrance into the China market and in 10 years we have added a production facility in Nanjing and two facilities in Weifang. We are excited to have the opportunity to respond to our customers and the increased market demand with the addition of this second Nanjing facility,” commented John Waters, ConMet’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Operations. “We look forward to expanding our ability to support our China customers with our PreSet® technology.”
The Nanjing hub assembly facility currently has three production lines in the 128,000+ sq/ft (11,948 m2) building with two additional production lines available to accommodate growing domestic and export market demand. The facility will provide world class hub assembly automation and digital management of the production lines, reinforcing ConMet’s commitment as a leading supplier of components that are manufactured in safe facilities that utilize clean, energy-efficient, state-of-the-art processes and equipment.
